What is Argus
Argus is a multi-tenant Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) platform. It deploys a lightweight agent into your cloud account to discover, classify, and monitor sensitive data, then surfaces findings in a control plane with intelligent sampling, statistical extrapolation, and confidence metrics.
Why Argus
Section titled “Why Argus”- Your data never leaves your environment. The agent processes data inside your VPC and sends back only structured findings (counts, categories, risk levels).
- No inbound ports. The agent makes outbound HTTPS calls only.
- Findings you can defend. Every finding carries a detection confidence and a statistical confidence.
- Compliance-mapped. Findings auto-map to GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOX, ISO 27001, and CCPA controls.
What it scans
Section titled “What it scans”S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and Redshift today, with multi-format support (CSV, JSON, TXT, PDF, DOCX, XLSX, XLS, XML). Azure and GCP are on the roadmap.
